High-Resolution QC at Production Speed

Full-Spherical Scanning

Real-Time Pass/Fail Evaluation

5-10 Seconds Cycle Time

The Ultimate Quality Control Solution

The world's first inline quality control system to deliver full-spherical dimensional assessments at production speed. Powered by eight high-speed 3D laser line profile CMMs, AM-Quality generates detailed 3D scans of every part and compares them in real time against nominal digital files — STL, STEP, or CAD — flagging deviations instantly, without operator involvement.

Originally developed for the dimensional challenges of additive manufacturing, where part-to-part variation is inherent to the process, AM-Quality applies the same automated inspection logic to injection molding, die casting, and CNC machining — any production environment where manual sampling is too slow, too inconsistent, or too costly to scale.

Available in two configurations: an inline system for continuous high-throughput production lines, and a standalone station for flexible inspection of low-volume, high-value, delicate, or prototype parts.

Flexible Quality Control
for Every Workflow

ADVANTAGES

Full-Spherical Scanning

Conduct comprehensive scans of each produced part with a 100 μm resolution, ensuring every detail is captured.

Automatic Part Handling

Our patented technology adapts to handle infinite geometries, seamlessly integrating with your production line.

Rapid Assessments

Achieve quick OK / Not OK evaluations within a few seconds takt-time, providing an opportunity for a full metrology report for each part.

High Throughput

Capable of assessing up to 720 products per hour.

Advanced 3D Laser Line Profile CMMs

Utilizing eight high-speed CMMs, the AM-Quality generates detailed 3D scans compared to nominal digital-source files (e.g., STL, STEP, CAD) for thorough assessments.

Guaranteed Quality at Scale

Increasing quality control capacity without the need for additional personnel, enabling efficient and consistent inspections.

Automated Compliance with ISO 10360-13

AM-QUALITY meets the iso 10360-13 standards, guaranteeing precise, reliable measurements across various industrial and manufacturing settings.

Full Metrology Report Per Part

The system is able to deliver comprehensive metrology report for every part. These customizable reports support internal QA processes and provide traceability for audits or client reviews, ensuring industry-specific compliance.

Cost-Effective Quality Control

Eliminates the inefficiencies of traditional methods by automating inspections, reducing manual labor, and minimizing human error. This prevents costly recalls and downtime, offering a more cost-effective and reliable approach to high-quality production.

Quality as a Revenue Driver

Helps manufacturers reduce defects, enhance customer satisfaction and brand reputation. This leads to operational efficiencies, fewer reworks, optimized timelines, and higher throughput.

Quality as a Revenue Driver

Full-Spherical Scanning

AM-Quality conducts a full-spherical scan of each part capturing every face, edge, and contour without repositioning or fixtures. Developed to handle the complex, organic geometries of 3D-printed parts, the full-spherical scanning approach works equally well on injection-molded components, die castings, and CNC-machined parts — delivering comprehensive dimensional data that single-angle or spot-check inspection methods simply cannot match. Every scan produces a full 3D deviation map against the nominal digital file, giving you actionable quality data on every single part.

The AM-Quality system revolutionizes quality control by automating product scans and quality analysis, delivering precise, reliable, and actionable data in real-time. Ensure your production meets your highest standards with our state-of-the-art solution.

Two Configurations
One Technology

AM-Quality is available in two configurations to fit different production environments and inspection requirements.

The inline system integrates directly into the AM-Flow production line — sitting between AM-Vision and AM-Sort — for continuous, fully automated inspection at 5–10 second cycle times. Customizable inspection profiles define exact pass/fail criteria, and all results feed into AM-Logic for real-time reporting and downstream routing. Suited to high-volume additive manufacturing post-processing and traditional manufacturing lines running injection molding, die casting, or CNC production.

The standalone station operates independently — ideal for inspecting delicate, low-volume, high-value, or prototype parts that require individual handling. The same full-spherical 3D laser scanning and metrology reporting capabilities apply, without the constraints of a continuous production cycle. Well suited to QC lab environments, first-article inspection, and customer approval workflows across any manufacturing technology.

Feature Inline Version Standalone Version
Integration Fully integrated into production line Operates independently
Throughput 5–10 s takt time 6–12 s per scan (non-continuous)
Ideal for High-volume, continuous production Low-volume, delicate, high value or prototype parts
Part handling Conveyor-based transport Manual placement on glass platform
Material sensitivity Requires abrasion-safe materials Supports fragile or sensitive parts
Use environment Automated factory lines Flexible lab or QA environments

Unsure which configuration fits your process? Whether you're running a high-volume additive manufacturing line or setting up quality inspection for injection molding, die casting, or CNC production — we'll help you find the right fit.

  • “The bottlenecks in the industry right now are largely in the post processing side, so everything after the printer. While we continue to grow, we can not just add human labor to continue to simply sort parts. That’s something we have been aggressively trying to resolve and explains our interest in AM-Flow. We are very impressed by the AM-Flow technology.”

  • 'As other 3D printing service providers, Oceanz’ part of the post processing workflow is also manually. That is why, for our growth, we see the importance of applying and developing new technological principles, such as automatic identification, Artificial Intelligence and machine learning,”
Erik van der Garde | CEO Oceanz, NL
  • “As companies scale their AM operations, they increasingly rely on automation. However, the potential to scale is limited by the post processing, which today is still mostly a manual process. Scaling this manual process by simple adding people increases costs, variability and doesn’t increase reliability. If you want to scale production, the only way forward is to automate post processing . . . but that easier said than done.”
Bart Van der Schueren | CTO Materialise, BE
  • “We want to strengthen our value for money proposition by lowering cost and optimizing lead time by business and manufacturing automation. We rather invest at an early stage; it is harder to change processes once we run 10 machines and increased the headcount. We aim to create a scalable infrastructure that enables fast but organized growth that does not compromise quality or customer experience”

  • “Integrating AM-Flow's identification and sorting capabilities has optimized our SLS and MJF processes, balancing density and geometry to reduce build costs. Streamlined administrative tasks and enhanced quality tracking have significantly cut non-value-added time and integrated critical quality data into our production system. Consequently, our production output increased by 70% in six months, and our non-conformance rate dropped from 1.6% to below 0.7%.”
