Job opening: Experienced Mechatronics Engineer

We are looking for an experienced mechatronics engineer with knowledge of electronics, mechanical applications, and an interest in AI software and robotics. You share your experience with other colleagues and thus build on the development of our current and new products, the organization’s structure, and you are a point of contact for your colleagues and customers.

Every day will be different in this role. At the beginning of the week, your ideas are the blueprint for a new leading-edge solution within the additive manufacturing industry, and in the next few days, you are assisting your technical colleagues with installing the latest upgrades. On other days you work independently on a new test protocol for optimizing the complete installation, and you are responsible for meeting the deadline for delivery to the customer.

Your marketing and sales colleagues also need your support. As a team, you are attending international trade fairs where you show the perfect demonstration of the Additive Manufacturing factory of the future.

In addition, our customers are expecting service on their investment. You are responsible for the service department as a point of contact and guide them towards solving their technical issues.

What are

your skills?

What type of colleague are you?
You are a result-oriented, social-minded English/Dutch-speaking colleague with:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechatronics / electrical engineering / industrial automation?
  • And has leading experience in this field?
  • You also like to travel around the world, visiting customers once every two months (Initially you will mainly visit our European customers)?
  • Programming a PLC is something you are comfortable with, as well as basic programming knowledge of C++ or Python?
